What you need to know about intuitive eating


Just as babies instinctively know when they are hungry and when they are full, we all have the capacity to return to the comfortable and natural state of knowing when it's time to eat and when it's time to stop. We were all born with this intuitive sense, but most of use learn to ignore it or cover it up somewhere along the way.

Based on the concepts of the landmark book "Intuitive Eating" by Tribole and Resch, the Intuitive Eating for Weight Release recording will help you to recapture the ability to really listen to what your body wants and needs for food, as well as healthy movement. Its focus is supporting you in finding the weight that is right for you.  It emphasizes health, listening to your body, and self-acceptance, not thinness and dieting.  We are all different and have varying genetic blueprints and natural body types.


Intuitive Eating Resources

I believe it’s healthiest to learn to accept and love what we’ve been given, while healing the patterns of thought, emotion and behavior that need healing.  If this resonates with you, read further!

The Intuitive Eating recording can stand alone, however, for an optimized effect, listen to the Clearing Emotional Blocks recording for a month before starting Intuitive Eating for Weight Release, or alternate days between the two.  If anxiety is a significant issue for you, consider adding Letting Go of Anxiety as an adjunct.

Note:  Clearing Emotional Blocks is a foundational recording that is a good place to start for many people, whatever their issues may be. It gently and comfortably assists the listener in stabilizing their emotional state, healing patterns that may not be helpful to them, and releasing issues from the past that may have been holding them back. 

While it’s fine to listen to the Intuitive Eating for Weight Release recording without any prior exposure to this way of living, I encourage you to access some of the other wonderful resources out there.
